Welcome to the Northeast Flooring Contractors Association, Inc. (NEFCA) website. Here, we hope you will find useful information about our association and our members to make it easier for you to do business with us.

The Association has been established to promote and improve the business of the unionized floorcovering industry in New England and contiguous states by engaging in various research, educational and promotional programs aimed at improving the quality of floorcovering through fostering improved relations in the floorcovering industry for the benefit of owners, contractors and the public. The Association is a not-for profit organization.

Our History

Established in 1973, NEFCA enjoys a close and unique association with Massachusetts Floorcoverers Local 2168, the oldest chartered Floor Covering Union Local in the United States.

As an association supported and upheld by members with long and proud traditions in the floor covering industry -- including those who operate family businesses that go back as many as three generations -- NEFCA counts performance, accountability, and customer satisfaction as its major hallmarks.
